MidAmerican Energy Company
provides regulated electric and natural gas service to more than 1.4 million customers in Iowa, Illinois, South Dakota and Nebraska. The company owns and operates a diverse portfolio of power-generating assets.
MidAmerican Renewables
owns solar, wind, geothermal and hydro energy projects that largely sell their output to regulated utilities. The company’s portfolio includes renewables projects in California, Arizona, Illinois and Hawaii.
MidAmerican Transmission
is engaged in various joint ventures to develop, own and operate transmission assets in several regions in the U.S. and is pursuing additional investment opportunities in organized and traditional markets in the U.S. and Canada.
PacifiCorp

is one of the largest distribution companies in the United Kingdom. It serves 3.9 million customers in an area covering about 10,000 square miles in northeastern England.

owns and operates an innovative hydroelectric plant and irrigation project in the Philippines.
Kern River Gas Transmission Company
brings natural gas into Utah, Nevada and California. Extending approximately 1,700 miles from the gas-producing fields in Wyoming to Bakersfield, Calif., Kern River delivers more than 2.2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day to customers along the pipeline system.
Northern Natural Gas Company
operates an interstate natural gas pipeline system extending from southern Texas to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Northern provides transportation and storage services to 81 utilities and numerous end-use customers in the Upper Midwest. It provides cross-haul and grid transportation between other interstate and intrastate pipelines and access to six major gas supply basins in North America.
